This policy explains how JMB Project Management Co. LLC (“JMB”, “we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data when you visit jmb.ae or contact us through it. We process personal data in line with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.
Who we are
JMB Project Management Co. LLC is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. Our office is at Limestone House, DIFC, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. You can contact us about privacy at customercare@jmb.ae.
What we collect
When you send an inquiry. Our contact form asks for your name, company, email address, phone number, the service you are interested in, a description of your project and your preferred timing. Only your name, email address and description are required.
When you contact us directly. If you email, call or message us on WhatsApp, we receive the details you choose to share, such as your name, contact details and the content of your message.
Technical data. To protect the contact form from automated spam, we temporarily store a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address for one hour. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this website.
How we use your data
- To reply to your inquiry and discuss your requirements.
- To prepare a proposal and take steps before entering an agreement with you, where you ask us to.
- To keep the website secure and protect it from misuse.
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
Cookies
The public website does not set cookies on your device. The only cookies used are the essential ones WordPress sets for people who log in to manage the site. Our fonts are hosted on our own server, so your visit is not shared with external font services.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers who help us run the website and our business, and only as far as needed:
- SiteGround, which hosts this website.
- Our email service provider, which delivers inquiry notifications and our correspondence.
These providers act on our instructions and are required to protect your data. Some may store data on servers outside the UAE. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards permitted under UAE data protection law. We may also disclose personal data where the law requires it.
If you choose to contact us through WhatsApp, your message is also handled under WhatsApp’s own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We keep website inquiries for 12 months, then delete them, unless the inquiry leads to an engagement. If we work together, we keep relevant records for as long as the engagement requires and afterward for the period required by law. The hashed IP address used for spam protection is deleted automatically after one hour.
Your rights
Under UAE data protection law you can ask us to:
- Give you access to the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Delete your personal data.
- Restrict or stop processing of your data.
- Provide your data in a structured format, or transfer it to another organization.
- Withdraw consent you have given, at any time.
To make a request, email customercare@jmb.ae. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the UAE Data Office.
How we protect it
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections to this website, restricted access to inquiry records and regular software updates.
Links to other websites
Our articles link to external websites for reference. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so please review their policies when you visit them.
Children
This website is intended for businesses and professionals. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
